The goals of the Troop Carrier/Tactical Airlift Association are three-fold:
1. To promote camaraderie among troop carrier/tactical airlift veterans by compiling a list of members and sponsoring regular get-togethers of the membership.
2. To preserve the history and heritage of the troop carrier mission and its tactical airlift successor.
3. To educate the public - including veterans of other missions - regarding the troop carrier/tactical airlift mission and the accomplishments of troop carriers/tactical airlifters in America's military conflicts and peacetime endeavors.
