At our 2014 Tucson reunion, the membership voted to raise funds for a memorial to Troop Carrier/Tactical Airlifters who died in America’s wars to be placed at the US Air Force Museum during our October 2018 reunion. Fund raising is coming along, with $34,604.14 in the memorial fund. The design has been set and Dodd Monuments is busy working the project. $18,750 has been paid to Dodd Monuments and the remainder is due upon completion. The Memorial will be sitting on a concrete pad with a walkway around it and the USAF Museum will require $2,350 in perpetual care for the Memorial. Additionally, the TC/TAA general fund contributed $5,000 towards the memorial and it would be grand if the fund can be reimbursed for other future projects.

Donations are being accepted: Mail them to our treasurer, Ralph Bemis, 248 Valley View Dr.,  Kerrville, Texas 78028
