Those who were there had a really good time at the Convention last week in San Antonio. The weather was great the whole time we were there. I really enjoyed the trip out to Lackland and the visit to the C-5 flight line. Next to the Herk, Fat Albert was my favorite airplane. Talk about comfort! They're not using the $10,000 coffee makers anymore but that airplane was really plush when I was on them. The food at the Kelly O Club was fantastic, especially for the price.

Ronda had a really good time too. She hadn't wanted to even go but I taked her into it since she really likes San Antonio. It is a beautiful city with a lot to do and see in walking distance of the hotel.

The only thing about the convention that I wish had been done different was to have had the hospitality room in the meeting room where we could have had more people in it at one time. As it was, there were some people I never even saw who were there. Nevertheless, Andy and Hector did a great job putting everything together.

By the way, the muesuem at Lackland is looking for basic training pictures, etc. I'm pretty sure I still have mine somewhere and plan to send it to them when I get a round tuit.
