Currently, plans are indefinite for the 2010 Convention. At the board meeting in San Antonio last year it was decided to have biannual conventions and the suggestion was made to have them in conjunction with an air show somewhere. The problem is that the air show schedules don't come out until December of the previous year so we're stuck on a dime until we know the exact dates. The Wings Over Houston Air Show this year is the weekend of October 31-November 1 and next year's event will most likely be the last weekend in October. If we go that route, we'll have the convention in Galveston and commute up to Ellington Field on Saturday (or Sunday) for the air show. Wings Over Houston is one of the biggest and best air shows in the country. There had been some discussion about having it in San Antonio again but Andy and Hector are heavily involved with the Professional Loadmaster's Gathering of Loads, which will be in San Antonio the second week in November. Nothing is written in stone and the board is open to suggestion.
